To understand the immediate requirement of the client, a physical and spiritual assessment is done. Post this the client is given a plan to help in connecting with the community resources. The client is then referred to a case manager to create a plan and begin working on the plan.

The employment preparation course is held monthly and is aimed at teaching the clients etiquette of how to gain and maintain employment. We emphasize on helping the clients to understand on they should market themselves.

The instructions given in the class include teachings on integrity, punctuality, appearance, preparation, interviewing, follow-up, and application completion, among others.

With the Fresh Start Gift Certificate, we provide a Walmart $100.00 gift certificate to ex-offenders and transitional home residents who have secured full-time employment. The gift certificate helps them to purchase personal necessities and hygiene products, undergarments, clothing, and shoes. The certificate is only made available after they secure employment and get a recommendation from a staff member.

Eligible applicants can get full grooming services such as hair cuts and make-overs, apart from clothing through the clothing closet.

We provide living quarters to women coming from domestic violence, homeless, and ex-offenders.

Under the Pay It Forward program, we try to ensure that the clients have enough money to furnish their own homes at the end of the program. To do this, we ask each client in the halfway home to pay a weekly housing fee of 100.00$ after obtaining employment. The Connect Us Outreach Ministry also puts 50.00$ of the weekly fee into a fund each month for the client. At the end of the two-year program, the client is given back 50.00$ of each payment, so they have money to furnish their own home.

We supply community with emergency food boxes.

We give away clothes for job readiness and interviews.

We give away furniture to clients that were homeless and received housing.
